Liverpool Odds On To Win Premier League

Almost a quarter of the 2019-20 Premier League season has now gone and Liverpool maintain their 100% record through the opening eight games . The Reds face perhaps their toughest game so far in the campaign on Sunday when they have to travel the short distance to Old Trafford to face arch rivals Manchester United.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have been clinical in winning their games so far often scoring late in games to snatch the points despite not playing at their best .
Bookmakers now make the Reds odds on favourite to win the Premier League as main rivals and last year’s Premier League winners have slipped up in three games so far most noticeably when losing away to newly promoted Norwich . Liverpool already have an eight point advantage over City and a further three point advantage over third placed Arsenal.
It is a sign of the times that Liverpool are odds on to win at Old Trafford with United struggling to make any impact at all in the Premier League this season . With only nine points gained from their eight games to-date Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are nearer the relegation places than the coveted Top 4 . Lacking firepower up front it seems unlikely that United will be a big threat to Liverpool’s strong defence led by the in form Virgil Van Dyck.
At this stage of the season it is perhaps too early to be calling the Premier League winners but so far Liverpool have answered every question asked of them .
Best odds for a first ever Premier League title for Liverpool are currently 4/6 offered by William Hill . If these odds seem to short then perhaps consider the straight forecast of Liverpool to win with Manchester City second at slightly better odds of 8/11 with Irish bookie Paddy Power . This reversal of last year’s top 2 seems to be the very likely outcome at this stage.
